Madrid – Salamanca

Salamanca is located 210 Km west of Madrid and can be reached by regular bus and train services.

Madrid – Salamanca (Bus):
Bus from the Airport: There is a regular bus service from Madrid-Airport to Salamanca operated by Avanza bus company, very convenient because it does not require the use of taxis or any other connection. These buses stop outside Terminal 1 and 4 (see map below).

Madrid – Salamanca (Train):
Trains to Salamanca depart from Estación de Chamartín (Phone: +34 913 159 976)

From Barajas International Airport, you have these options:

  • Taxi: One way to Estación de Chamartín cost around 15 Euros.
  • Subway: There is a tube station in the airport. Line 8 reaches “Nuevos Ministerios”. There you change to Line 10 to Estación de Chamartín. It takes about 35 minutos and costs 1,10 Euros.

In Salamanca, the bus terminal is located in a walking distance (5-10 min) from the meeting venue.
